Changing tree size

How do you chage the size of tree in giants editor as when i adjust there scale when i load the map to cut them down they go back to there original size?

After you make the tree bigger, While that tree is selected, Then up in the top menu of Giants editor select Edit, then Freeze Transformations, put a check in the box for Scale and Preserve Instances, then click apply.
