Farming Simulator 22 will feature two brand-new maps as well as an updated Erlengrat - the map featured in our Alpine Farming Expansion. Let's take a look at one of the new ones: Elmcreek.

Woot woot!!! A Midwest/Corn Belt map!
First question: What state?
Now just to see if it’s a worthy successor to Westbridge Hills.

The map looks good so far, can't wait to see more.
Hopefully you give us the ability to remove objects, like the rubble in the first screenshot.

One nice thing I noticed looking at the screenshots, it seems the detail on buildings has went up.

Agreed. I get that they want to add details to make a map look "lived in," but the garbage piles from Ravenport was a blemish that really turned me off from the map.

I also hope that the landscaping tool and placeable system both get improvements for consoles. Gets frustrating seeing can't be placed here or terrain cannot be modified. If they really wanted to go for the gold on landscaping, make it to where you can actually dig and move earth with the Loaders and telehandlers.

It's a new tech we're using called Parallax Occlusion Culling. Gonna talk about that more in a future blog. :)

It definitely looks good in the ploughed texture. The ground still looks a bit featureless and low-resolution (similar to previous games) in other ground states seen thus far, but I suppose the ground does have less definition in real life too.

Hopefully you've managed to abolish the terrain angles or at the very least increased them by a significant amount; that goes for the AI workers too, which are dictated by the number of terrain angles.
