Input bindings

Hi there, hoping someone can help.
I'm used to playing on PC using my Xbox controller but at the weekend I received the Logitech heavy equipment bundle.
I was hoping there might be a way to stop the wheel and side panel from auto assigning controls.
I would like to keep my Xbox controller as the "default" controller and then be able to assign the wheel and side panel controls as I want.
Is there an easy way of doing this.
I had starting re assigning my Xbox controller to some controls but found it too difficult and time consuming. So I'd rather do it the other way around. If that makes sense haha
