It is said that the multi-terrain angle will come with an update a few days after the game's release. Is this true? :confusednew:

If it’s not in the base game… sure, why not

I'm sceptical if it's not already built into the game that it would follow later.

how would they know that already right now when the game isn't even finished

I think we have to expect at this stage that the majority of the game is set and it's more tweaking and bug fixing.

Hopefully they have listened to us over the past lord knows how many years and have come up with a system which lets us have more than 8 angles for terrain and helpers (or ideally a whole different approach), but if they had I'd be certain we'd have heard something by now, as they'd be crowing from the hills about it.

It's probably the worst thing in the game (and I include FS19's marmite graphics and dodgy sky in that) and certainly the most archaic.

I really do feel for console players being stuck with such angles. It's awful.

I would almost guarantee you that serious mods meant that modders would end up fixing it shortly after release. Unless there’s a game breaking bug, doubt that you’ll see an update from Giants a mere few days after its release.

Just confirm won't happen. Still limited to 45 degree angels.

Maybe the giants devs should watch the tutorial put out by modders, so they can learn how to do it.
But, I think they're busy not completing something else.

But they also mentioned, that they have it on their list. Limiting factor is older hardware because of memory usage.
Maybe as an update for FS22, maybe in one of next versions.

Giants is did they say they had multi-terrain angles on their fixed listing?

it NOT a case of Giants being stupid and unable to do it, it is the fact it take more hardware resources, something that most mod makes don't give a second thought to as to how something will run on minimum spec hardware.

that is besides the aesthetic issues it introduces.
