Map Italia light on PC - cannot refuel

I played this map quite a bit when it first came out. Decided to go back and change a few things so I could take the story in a different direction. All was going well until I had to refuel a tractor. Impossible, tried both petrol stations, tried different tractors but no chance. I guess it must be a mod conflict but I have not changed the mods activated for this map. Maybe a mod update has created the conflict. Anyway if anybody has been through the same and knows the answer, please share.
