How many semi trucks/lorries is too many for a farm?

On my current game save on Griffin Indiana, I have a dairy farm and have three semi trucks. I have a cabover TLX to haul a grain trailer and a liquid manure trailer, a Phoenix triaxle milk hauler, and Phoenix dump truck. I think I also want to buy the International Transtar cabover, to haul other various trailers. This is my first time on 19 with more than two semis. On Marwell, I ran just one lorri. And on Osina, I ran the AAA modding Lizard truck and some other European military style truck to haul grain.

So.....how many semi trucks are too many?

I usually end up with two to three semis and five to ten grain trucks

If you have money to burn, remember, there are seven days in a week.

My farm is usually surrounded around a corn and soybean rotation with occasional small grains. 3-4 semis in the fleet. Use all of them during harvest. During spring work one is on the liquid fert. trailer, one is one the lowboy, one is on the seed tender, and one is hauling grain.

usually only 1 for me. I try to keep things realistic and not have more than an actual farmer would have depending on land owned. I'll have a couple different trailers obviously for different jobs. The only time I'll have more than one semi is if I'm playing multiple farms on one map.

Ched, weren't you giving me air about having mutiple 1050's one time? I have a big chunk of the northern map on Griffin, and one truck for hauling grain. (A Phoenix, dark blue, tastefully pimped.) I'm cheating a little with the Underbelly trailer because it holds everything, but I've been thinking about getting a Lode King and maybe one of KF's big end dumps. If I need another semi tractor, slot logic dictates another Phoenix. Not going to burn slots on a truck...

Most of the time I don't have any because of money reasons. If I do have money, I either have a tractor unit with a trailer or a fixed body one. Mostly MAN or the Iveco's from Modhub.

I put two on the poll, but I'll do anywhere from none to 3 or 4. If I don't have any, it's because I'm playing on a map like Autumn Oaks where the only trucks I'll have would be the milk truck driver I contract to haul for me. On a bigger map though, I will have 1 or 2 usually. If I have 3 or 4, that's because I'm running silage on a large scale and most of those trucks have silage trailers on them. I also don't like having too many trailers for one truck, but rotating the truck off a trailer to a different one is good. So 2 trailers per truck unless its a year-round job

Voted zero, I normally play smaller fields so small trailers pulled by tractors tend to suit me.

Only truck I have used in 19 is the D-754 and then only one, can’t drive more than that at a time on Xbox. πŸ˜¬πŸ‘πŸ»

1 dump, 1 tractor but maybe more if I'm rich. This is one of big reasons I had a pc. I'd have an entire fleet running grain if I didnt have to drive each one

I do have lorries in the equipment list, but they are not "mine" in that they are parked offsite and come and go just to fetch and deliver stuff, mostly by AutoDrive.

I do the same in general as I was playing mainly UK maps. Of late I have moved more to US farming mainly playing 4x maps so in following from what I've watched as trucks are the norm on most US farms I've followed suit for 2 reasons, one to be more realistic and secondly I don't want Chedly judging me for a lack of trucks

If Chedly gets a wild hair, he will find something to judge you on
