I don’t know how licensing works, I’m not gonna pretend to be an expert and know. All this time everyone says White and Allis Chalmers are covered under the AGCO blanket. But Jullian F Modding released them as AGCO products. So with Versatile on board this year, Kubota and Gleaner are really the two big N. American brands not yet in the game. Any idea if we could see them coming to FS22?

I don't see giants making a gleaner, but I do see it happening if a modder makes one.

Guessing they probably won't.

I'd have to assume that demand throughout the FS community for a Gleaner is about the same as the demand throughout the actual farming community for a Gleaner... not much.

I'd assume there is the same demand for Versatile. It's just an observation.

I could see perhaps Jullian F. Modding taking a shot at it in FS22, being that he has centered around AGCO machinery. I haven't asked at all, I don't like hounding modders with questions, just praise.

Well the problem is you couldn't actually harvest with a gleaner, it would just fall apart once it touched the field. At least it would have that super cool blue glass to look through while you smash your controller cause your crops withered for the 10th time in a row.

I guess that's why I only see old Gleaners parked in weeds around Ed Gein type farm houses in my area lol. The one "scary" looking individual still uses his on 10 acres of wheat with multiple blue tarps bungee strapped for water deflection. They had a neat look about them though.....minus the tarps.

Yeah that's who I was thinking of if too. I only know a couple gleaner mods on pc as well. Maybe with the supposedly easier conversion system some modders will be looking for new ideas or different projects.

I grew up running one of those old Gleaners right there... Can still remember the sound of that ol' propane engine to this day.

We had a neighbor that bought a new gleaner E in 1966 and it was used till he passed away in 2013. He ended up wearing out the gasoline engine in it and putting a 300 cubic inch Chevrolet 6 cylinder engine in it. The gleaner was sold to another neighbor who used it until a tornado came thru and destroyed the barn and the gleaner.
