I was just looking over the production chain diagram that Giants released for FS22, and I'm really glad sugar cane made it into the sugar production system and not just sugar beet. However afterwards it hit me that there is nothing for potatoes. You grow them and sell them and that's all there is from what I can tell. Hopefully Giant's or a modder will come up with something for potatoes. There's plenty of things I can think of that can be made with potatoes apart from that basic potato. Oil and Potatoes = crisps (chips), French Fries (frozen). Other ideas potato salad, and scalloped potatoes. Just a few thoughts.
I would love to be able to do more with them especially as they take so long to harvest. I do grow them once in a while in 19 but for the most part I avoid them.

Yummy, I had forgotten about Perogies - Cream from the dairy and Potatoes is an easy setup.

I have been thinking for a while here about all the productions and factory that can be added not only with FS22 realease but whit the effort of modders and I know it will be a huge change. It is a big important step to have a default productions in the base game which will cause modders to produce more and better factory mods. There is a lot of productions in the FS19 mods, as Brewery being one of them. You can use grapes, wheat or potatoes (between others grain) to produce different alcoholic drinks. So, yes, eventually we will get love to all grains, vegetables and things produced in the game.

Yes. We could use cows for the cheese/curds, and chickens for the gravy.
We could have a Chip-Truck placeable to sell the ingredients.
