Silo on Medicine Creek

I am playing on PC and i am having problems with the silo on the farm by field 27. I bought that farm and i put some canola in the silo. I checked the screen and it showed 0 liters of canola. I went to unload it and that menu showed silo empty. What am i doing wrong?
