That jumping tree in the harvester claws clip...doesn't look like physics were improved. Looks worse than FS19.

Looks like the physics has improved, when the harvester drops the log, it kinda sticks to the ground, like added weight

I guess Eric missed the Scorpion King about to skyrocket from that bouncing tree.
The Academy is a good idea. It's not the Council of Elders, but it's still a good idea.

do think the whole point of Farming Simulator Academt is to help new players learn how stuff works and how to do thing not how a tree bounces after being cut.

There does appear to be some change because the log that was cut didn’t roll and flip away like usual but the remaining tree looked pretty squirrelly

Giants,

For your tutorials, please when describing tilling, go over the differences in using plows, cultivators, disc harrows, subsoilers, and power harrows. Now in FS19, it appeared only from looking at help icon on the bottom of the item, that plows=subsoilers and cultivators=discharrows=powerharrows. However, important things like how power harrows can be attached on the front were missing and had to be discovered and figured out by players.

In FS22 with stone picking, there will be a larger difference, with the type of soil prep determining the amount of rocks appearing. If that is indeed the case, please describe it and put plans to update this info in your game's online help. However, from watching FS22 gameplay, it appears you need to run the stone picker on the entire field (hidden rocks are collected when stone picking on soil which doesn't show rocks on surface) - as you can't appear to overload rocks anywhere (maybe drop them on the ground with an overload here option if it exists?) besides the rock crusher, does one have to take how often the stone picker is filled when determining to use a cultivator or disc harrow (besides comparing surface area per hour covered)?

Also, will the type of subsoil prep in FS22 make a difference to the yield? Or will it not as the case in FS19, with the exception of plowing (if enabled in options) required every 3rd harvest to prevent a yield malus.

Its small detailed info like this that made FS19 difficult for me to fully understand after I bought it and played Farm Sim for the first time. There's an old saying in the industry from which I retired after 25 years...."A product without great documentation, cannot be a great product".

Very nice add with this Academy.
That been said, I might not be a expert on topic however order is wrong in thread: https://www.farming-simulator.com/newsA ... ews_id=298
By my opinion it should be more clear like:
If u got field which was harvested and requires lime and plowing too ( for example to have fully prepared field from scratch):
1. On harvested field apply Lime and fallow by Manure.
2. Plow
2a. Pick stones if needed.
3. Cultivate or otherwise...
3a. Fertilize if wanted.
4. Sow.
5. First stage of grow. fertilizer again and apply pesticide if needed.
6. Keep eye for weeds( use weeder if needed)
7. Harvest.
8. Repeat ( don't repeat lime and plowing, manure if not needed)
Maybe something in those lines would be actually more friendly for new players in graphic yes/no steps by steps.
Just a thought.
Other then that it's nice to see all hard work and new features in base game. Well done

Make sure you line up the hopper under the bin, turn it on, and then drive a trailer under the other side. If your loading a bin, make sure the spout is over the hole of the bin and turned on.

Could we add something into the academy?
A map / view over all controlls?
Im stuck with how to select what tools to disconnect from the Tractor.

Ex.: I have a weight and a trailer attached to my tractor. How to I switch to my Trailer, so I can detach/drop that, insted of the frontweight? [PS4]
