Update 1.2.02 download speed

This is ridiculous... an 864MB update and it's a 30 minute download time?!?! Oh come on Giants. My download speed is 900gb/sec too. Take the money you make from FS22 and invest it in new servers to handle more traffic please. Thank you.

Kind of ridiculous downloading the full game, again for an update, is still faster than a small update such as this. Should have just stuck buying it from steam like always.

Appreciate that but that's where I downloaded the game from originally and it took 12 hours. SMH...... should have been done in 20 minutes for 12 GB's not 12 hours. This small tiny little update. Should be 10 second download.

There isn't even any domestic network equipment on the market that can handle that speed, and you'd be downloading faster than the storage in your PC can write it to disk.

Perhaps you mean mbps, not gbps

You are correct. My apologies. I did mean mbps... it's 1.4gb download speed and I get 900-950mbps. Apparently I need to deal my my own inabilities to think correctly.

I tried downloading via the portal as suggested and the version in the filename was still 1.2.0.0.

I updatedd this morning using the updater at 10h exactly. My Internet is a poor DSL where i can reach 12 Mbits in theory, works a 11Mbits usually so the process to downlaod the full update was 40 minutes and then 2 more minutes for installation and run FS22

I tried to update to 1.2.02 but when it's running, there pops up a error. It during installing the update. I even tried re-installing the game, but so far the same issue keeps repeating. This is really frustrating. And downloading the online version from GIANTS is still the 1.2.0.0 version. I guess I might have to wait until they come up with a updated version of that.

Edit. I downloaded the most recent version of the game through GIANTS, yet it was still 1.2.0.0. Then he did update the game correctly, I don't know why or how. Guess I will be playing the latest version.
