Hello all.
After many years of simulated European farming I want to move to the other side of the Atlantic.
But my knowledge about NA farming and modding is limited to say the least.

So I ask the community for advice and suggestions on where I can find more American style mods and maybe some good YouTube channels about American small-scale farming.

My focus is on smaller and older machines, but all suggestions are appreciated.

For dairy I recommend 10th generation Dairy farmer on YouTube. I think they are more medium sized but uses a fair bit of smallish equipment.

Thanks, now I have some research on equipment and methods to do as I want to play as close to reality as possible in game

I'd add in Larson Farms as a real life channel to watch as for FS channels The Farm Sim Guy is worth a look whilst he is UK based most of what he does is US style play.

It depends what you want to know about? I can recommend the Field Work podcast that is an absolute gem and the fact it’s now getting funding from public radio is testament to it. It discusses everything from commercial row crop farming through soil conservation, waterway protection and erosion control and has some of the pioneers of no till and cover crops. There were some accompanying YouTube videos that had the interviews on them as well. Season one especially covers precision farming, no till, cover crops and generational changes in humorous and personal style (just a plug no commercial connection) and it’s easy listening on long drives with some trademark euphemisms and funny anecdotes mixed in. Just an aside to the YouTube farmer trend above as it’s hard to get a lot of decent information from a 10-15 minute video on there.

And thanks to the tip about American style mods Facebook page, thanks to that I found the Farmville, NC map, the first map I've played in FS22 that really got me hooked and I really started to enjoy the game for the first time.
So a big thank you to all who answered.

Don't forget gierok farms. They are taking what somewhat of a new route in how they make their videos, more in depth explanation and stuff. Think their newest tractors are maybe -99 JD 7405 or something, and a few old farmalls.

Farming with Duffy Ag is also a good smaller farm channel on youtube who uses a lot of older equipment.
