Hello!. Let's start the weekend with a poll. Do you like to use the plough, the subsoiler, or maybe you prefer the direct seeding?. Answer one of the options and tell me in the commentaries if you want :D You can say us your favourite tool for this things too.

That no-till thing is blasphemy to me. Ploughing is mandatory.

Growing up, we moldboard plowed every year, 3 rows at a time, 330 total acres. then it increased to 4 rows at a time, then when I was able to reach the pedals, 7 rows, 3 bottom on the 4020 with my granddad and 4 bottom on the 4430 that i was driving.

Since that's the way I grew up, that's the way I play.

FS19

Inline Ripping (Ecolo-Til 2500) or some other variety of ripping, or just a chisel plow. Occasionally a moldboard if I feel like taking forever. No Till isn't something I've done yet, largely because I run livestock and spread manure, and therefore wish to incorporate it in.

I turn off plowing, and I'd I have to plow when I start a map, looks like this "feature" is gone with fs22... I prefer a wide subsoiler/cultivator. Like the 12m JD one in fs19, the create fields pack is nice too...

Neither, a chisel plow and I edit a disk to give plowed state because that’s how I handle corn trash in real life. Plus you go at a pretty good clip with a disk… I like fast

Ploughing, currently using the Kverneland Ecomat, I've always found it one of the more relaxing and satifying things do to in Farming Simulator.

I plow in game. Another reason to really focus on how I choose tractors. May only plow once in awhile but gotta have something to be able to drag that thing when it needs done.

In real life I noticed some local small farms still plow every so often. The soil looks so much better when it's all smoothed out after being plowed over.

I prefer plowing to avoid stubble tillage since I usually don't use a direct seeder. If the field doesn't need plowing and I use a shallow cultivator, I need to roll the field to get rid of stubble tillage before planting, so the rolling step takes the place of the plowing step in that case. I don't roll my fields after sowing for a mere 2.5% increase in yield, so might as well just plow.

I turned plowing off. I'll either direct seed or use a disk or cultivator depending on what the previous crop was.
