insane lag sometimes. restarting pc fixes

Sometimes when I start up the game I will be getting like 2 fps and then when I look in another direction, the fps goes back to normal. When I restart my PC, it fixes it. My farm is pretty huge so I'd expect some lag but not that much. especially since after I restart my computer, it fixes it which doesn't make much sense. does someone know cause of this?
