With yesterday's update to the Platinum DLC, it enabled me to add the mine shaft from Silverrun to Rennebu!
Bring the metal to your own furnace (build it where you like).

The metal you produce can be sold to Rennebu Snekkeri (the carpenter). If you own Rennebu Snekkeri, you can produce goods that require metal.

All you have to do is enable the Platinum DLC when you start a new game with Rennebu.

I just wonder, any plans for adding a stand alone silage silo/fermenting silo?
I've been reading up on a few Norwegian studies lately, and it seems like those are getting back into use more now, as they are better than bunker silos waste vice, and better environmental than silage bales.

Where am I supposed to unload food/straw for the Bruholt Cow Barn?

I've tried all around the barn and no where will take it

No immediate plans to make a standalone silage/fermenting silo. All I know of are part of the barn. It's an interesting topic though. I would like to figure out a good design where you dump grass - it ferments - and is brought to the animals automagically. The manual labor involved would be inside the barn, and I'm not exactly sure how that would be done in FS to be honest.

Hey! You're not the first to ask. So it tells me I need to do something to make it more clear. Any suggestions to make it more intuitive?

Actually, let me ask this; what exactly do you have in mind? Are there other mods on modhub that do what you want? I could have a look for inspiration.

Yes, there's a few on modhub, but neither have the right feel for being used in Norway

It just doesn't look right.
There are also some that have digestate as a by-product of the process, which would be nice, in moderate quantities.
It seems most use the production function for this.

Ah, I see.
That's actually what the majority of farms in Rennebu have irl, either round or square silos.
It's just that it's a bit tricky to make it work properly as one building with animals.

I guess you're getting closer for the update to be launched now, so you might have an idea if a new save would be needed?

New savegame is definitely needed because of all the changes to foliage, terrain, terrain textures and new roads.

Then I won't do much more terrain works
