After clearing the trees from the free area at the top of the map I setup a market garden area (see picture).



My question is - how do you plough the land in that area ?

I have tried and can't get it to work

Also did you know you can now open the main gate to that area ?

I cleared the area behind the houses next to the main farm where I was going to plant potatoes.
I wanted to use small equipment.
It would not allow me to plough this area also. ???????
I also tried to cut the grass along the top area where I made the market garden and it would
not allow me.??????
Is there some way even in GE to make these areas work ?

Did you use a plow? (Not a subsoiler, cultivator, or disc harrow)
Did you push the button to "allow create fields"?

DMZ Commander - Yes I was using a plough and I did select Allow create Fields



Re the grass cutting - I tried to cut the original grass - it did not cut
so I tried painting the area with crass and that did not cut

Because you can now get access to the area through the main gate with larger equipment I could get use of that area
In FS19 I used the area for greenhouses and planted potatoes and using smaller equipment everything worked fine
baring in mind you only got access through the small gate .

Do you own the land?

i can't find the bga on attingham park. also i have a contract to plow field 43. the plow provided doesn't plow but the ai tractor follows a path to do the plowing and completion says 0 plowed. frustrating.

DMZ Commander - Yes I own the land, you can get it for £0 - it is free land

chaskuchar1 - location of BGA is north of the main farm (see photo) and I did manage to plough field 43

thanks so much. i like this map. it is harder than calmsden, especially with the traffic. and i like the more fields than calmsden. i have over 200 hours on that map.

agrisem cultiplow platinum 8m. second time i got this plow on contract, now field 2. it wont plow and i get the message 'this vehicle/tool is reserved for contract work.' i am doing a contract now. what am i doing wrong???

No. I had a contract to deliver silage bails there, so it should have taken them.

I only realised after I looked around for an explanation that the triggers do not exist. They don't show up on the map, and there are no blue lights on the site. I only knew where the site was because I played this map a lot on 19.

i got the blue lights after i bought the bga. it was about 24k. still an interesting map. i am doing it without going into debt so it is challenging

third time with the agrisem plow. it don't work. should i do a support post?

So the agrisem plow came up again on contract. didn't work again with same error messages. so thought i would try another plow but the game would not let me use a different one. i guess i will delete any contracts with the agrisem plow.

Loved playing this on fs19 but on fs22 it seems not to work as good, had a couple of harvesting contracts so borrowed equipment for both, completed 1 and started to use equipment to help Finish the 2nd as it was on a big field but after a save and came back to it the next day the equipment from 1st contract disappeared and it wiped out that contract too so I was unable to collect on it.
The other frustrating part is when you have to get oversized headers out of the shop entrance.
Is there anyway of changing this?
