I have the same error on my ps4 pro... installed the game on older ps4 and after 1.5h got the same error.
Two different consoles, same game, same error.
Giants have to fix this thing!

This is a general PS4 error and has nothing to do with the LS22 game itself.
I've had the error several times on the PS4 and other games like GTA Online, RDR Online GT7, etc. but I haven't had it in the LS22 for over 1,100 hours.

What also often helps:
Reduce visibility
Don't scroll through the shop categories so quickly.
Don't scroll through the vehicles so quickly.
When entering the map, let the graphic shader load for 5-10 minutes (i.e. as soon as you are on the map, put the controller away for 5-10 minutes.

Otherwise, as mentioned above, rebuild the database, possibly 2-3 times in a row.

Is the console clean, no dust, etc. in it?
Is the console getting hot?
Which PS4
Standard, Slim, Pro?
Most of the problems are on the PS4 Slim, I think it is partly due to the lower power consumption of 160 watts in contrast to the PS4 standard with 250 watts and PS4 Pro with 330 watts.

In the case of the CE 34878-0 error, you should “rebuild the database”
Otherwise, it might help to scroll more slowly through the menus, categories and the shop/vehicles (browse through) or let the graphic shader load and set up in peace for 5-10 minutes when you enter the map and do nothing.
Otherwise proceed as described:

1)
Turn off PS4
2)
Connect the controller to the PS4 using a USB cable.
3) PS4 press and hold the power button on the console until the 2nd beep, then the security menu will appear.
4)
There you search and select the entry “Rebuild your database” and activate it.
5) It may take some time as some kind of de-fragmentation of the console hard drive is being carried out.
At the end the console restarts by itself, now the problem with the CE 34878-0 error should be solved.

So what you are saying is that 2 different consoles have same issue with database at the same time with the same game and problem is 2 different consoles and not the game itself. Yup, makes a lot of sense.

Indeed makes sense… could be caused by bad entries in your PSN Account for example. So it would occur on every of your consoles. But it would not mean it’s a gamebug itself

So what you are saying is that 2 different consoles have same issue with database at the same time with the same game and problem is 2 different consoles and not the game itself. Yup, makes a lot of sense.

As I said, I had the CE-34878-0 error 8x in the first 400 hours

not once for over 1,100 hours.

The error can also occur:

If you scroll through the vehicles too quickly, it is best to only scroll a maximum of 3-4 x vehicles then wait briefly until the writing/name of the vehicle has disappeared and only then continue scrolling for the next 3-4 x vehicles.

When scrolling through the vehicles, devices, decorations at the shop dealer.

If the visibility is too high, it is best to only stay between 60-80%.

Too many pallets or felled trees in one place, but you notice that beforehand because then everything usually only happens in slow motion.

Recompile/load the map's graphic shader.
This means that after entering the map and before starting to play, put the controller aside for 5-10 minutes and do nothing, then the graphic shaders of the map should have recompiled/loaded.

Press and hold the PS button on your controller.

Got rid of the error on both consoles after I uninstalled mods. Went from 60+ mods to only 3 and played another 70hours without having this error coming on once.
It is definitely an issue with the game and i'm 100% sure I'll never get it again on another game.

No, this is a general PS4/PS5 error.
I haven't had this error in the LS22 for over 1,100 hours on my self-converted skin Beyleron Map and I use a lot of mods around 80-90 xMods or even a few more and it doesn't occur.

In other games I still have the CE-34878-0 error every now and then like GTA Online, RDR 2 Online and other games.
