I'm only curious that dead wood is in "beta phase." Perhaps a planted tree will go through life cycle only to reach the status of dead wood if you let it go too long. Some other factor forcing you to really keep track of the trees you plant/grow as we have quickly learned what the penalty value of dead wood is.

If i went to a real life lumber yard and had a rotten tree they would not except it lol. And you should have concern for building a roller coaster from dead trees. They could be rotten!😂😂

Seems like an over-reaction here.

I’ve been taking deadwood from my own plots to the sawmill no worries.

In your testing you found that the woodturner takes the deadwood. Now staircase railings and pepper grinders sell for good money.

I think that’s a great return for essentially free wood.

Deadwood contracts are a way to access wood for your productions without owning any land it seems.

OK, but how many liters of wood You have from one deadwood?
For me it's about 50 liters...

Yep, which for a 20 tree deadwood contract gives me 1,000l of wood which makes 2,000l of pepper grinders. Which sell for around $1,200/1,000l on hard.
