is Steam involved in any way? I've bought everything already on Steam, but my controller doesn't work. However, if I play the game on Game Pass, my controller works, so It's something to do with the game and Steam's controller set up. I figure if I repurchase the game here, that so long as Steam isn't involved, I should be able to use my controller. I'm terrible at keyboard driving is the thing.

So if I buy here, do I just get a Steam key or do I actually download my purchase from here?

Are you sure your controller works with farming simulator? Some controllers dont work with fs.

You will not get a steam key when buying from the Giants web store, instead you'll get a download link from them, and download the game directly from Giants

I use a PS/4 controller on my PC occasionally. It works fine and I just plug it in and go. All my games are Steam, L would be looking at Steam/PC setup for your controller before buying a new version of the game from another source

Just turn off Steam Input, it tries to emulate the Xbox pad and because of this you probably don't have a controller working properly.
