Why, after ploughing does the ground not show up like it used to ?

Yeah i do not like that, I can't see where i ploughed, Giants please fix this!

I was trying various things - cultervating worked as normal, I tried spreading manure before ploughing and - perfect

Did you try to use another (basegame) type of plow, so not a cultiplow? Just curious of the type of plow now make a different.

I just tested with a mouldboard plow. Its messed up. I could understand with a subsoiler which doesn't really turn the soil, but mouldboards flip the soil over. There shouldn't be much stubble left on the surface. They need to fix this.

In real life I think you would treat the field with whatever before ploughing ?

Havent tried seeding or rolling yet - wonder if they have made it better to see
the change in the ground between seeding & rolling ?

Oh yeah definitely a bug. I have base game tractor and plow and was like wtf is that texture. It was oat field and straw was shredded by combine.

Tried some different crop types

I tried an area spread with manure and Lime
The lime area did not work as it used to ?

Have you tried mulching before plowing?
