Dedicated Server problems

I recently bought a dedicated server because my friend has IPv6 and I have IPv4 and because of this we cant join a Giants made server. After I successfully bought a dedicated server, one of us cant join the game after the other one already joined in. The game says activation key is already in use which is obviously false because I bought the game as a Giants key and my friend did it on Epic Games. Did anyone experience the same issue?
