I have seen a few picutures of wood chip bales but I cant find a baler that can do it.
Looking for an easy way to pick up wood chip on a field. (besides using a loader bucket)
A forage harvester that can pick up chip would work too.

Re: Wood Chip bales
The base game one? Does that do Chip as well as poplar? or are you thinking a mod?

If "realism is key" you might try the GOWEIL LT-MASTER F115 or its big sibling the VARIO-MASTER V140. You will still have to load the chips but it will give you easy to transport chip bales as I recall. Otherwise I might suggest this mod https://www.farming-simulator.com/mod.p ... tle=fs2022. Pretty sure it will pick up any loose material off the ground.

Had to check, and while they can do so in real life, Giants dropped that function from them.PrincessJessi84 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 08, 2024 4:20 pm If "realism is key" you might try the GOWEIL LT-MASTER F115 or its big sibling the VARIO-MASTER V140. Sadly enough, because that had been a very nice thing, and that I hoped they had added until the factsheets came

Re: Wood Chip bales
wait....... so they added all the extra stuff you can bale like tmr but didn't do loose chips like it does irl? I've not tried chips in it, I just assumed based on the video that I watched after it was announced in the dlc. That is kind of a kick in the gut to be honest. Well chuck the realism out the window, try not to hit the glass, and just use the mod I linked I guess.
Re: Wood Chip bales
I had set my chain saw to produce chips when it grinds a stump and I have all these chips all over my field. Seemed like a waste to just plow them in. So I used a telehandler bucket to manually pick them all up. Took two hours RT. It was only 30k chip but still. Was just hoping for a way for the AI to do it.
