I started The Oaks v1.0.0.6 map, as nice as all the large oak trees are eye candy wise, the author placed them on both sides of almost all the roads, they've turned out to be nothing but a royal pain. Combines and any tall implements constantly get caught by the limbs of all the oak trees that are placed next to the roadside.
Is there any way to remove the collisions from these trees?

Re: Removing Collisions ? ? ?
Not sure if it possible to remove collisions without influencing the functionality when cutting down those trees.
Depends on how many trees are problematic, but you could make a roleplaying thing out of it by cutting all the overhanging limbs with a chainsaw. Probably as fast as going into GE picking every problematic tree and removing collisions.

Re: Removing Collisions ? ? ?
I'm sorry, I thought the "eye candy" gave it away, I should have been clearer, these oaks are trees that can't be cut down.

Re: Removing Collisions ? ? ?
If it is always the same tree model and name, you could rework one of those as intended and then use it to batch-replace all identical trees in the map.

Re: Removing Collisions ? ? ?
I have some knowledge in GE, but I've never done anything like that. Most of the time I can find collisions for an object on a map, but the author has apparently hidden them or something.
I would need some how-to instructions.

Re: Removing Collisions ? ? ?
Ummm ... I guess you have some other kind of problem here. I have no issues driving the Claas under the trees on the position you showed on the screenshot. Neither if I stay on the road nor even when I'm one tirewidth on the grass. One of the next upcoming trees a bit further down the road has one low hanging branch where I get stuck if driving really far offroad on the grass. But that looks like a normal behaviour and could be solved by turning it around a bit.
The trees appear to be regular oak models with standard collision setup - and I can also cut them down!
The only really severe issue I could identify is that people are driving on the wrong side of the road .
Do you have other examples of vehicle / tree position combinations to check?
EDIT: I forgot to mention that I did not use any of the many mandatory mods that the map requests. So in case there is any interaction of those causing the issue, I would not notice. You might cross-check that as well.

Re: Removing Collisions ? ? ?
There is a new version of The Oaks coming soon, maybe your issue will be resolved in that or if not it maybe worth waiting before trying too edit the old version to your liking.
