what save game files contain terrain edits, cut trees etc?

I want to go back to an earlier save game before I made some changes, but want to incorporate my field edits and trees cut down. Can I cope specific files form one savegame folder to another to achieve this?

Nearly sure it's the height or ground GDM file

You want the densityMap files,infoLayer files, and the terrain.heightmap.png file.
I think you need the splitShapes.gmss file too.

You can't edit these easily if that is what you want to do.
