Map update and new saved game

Hi the map i am playing on says there is a update but needs a new saved game. So i i install this map update do i loose everything i have already done IE i made some fields bigger will i loose all the changes i have mad

Yes you will lose that, as you need to start a new save slot. I think you might be able to continue without updating the map, but unsure. You wouldn't have any of the fixes/changes that the update adds though.

If you update the map your old game will more than likely big out....either don't update and live with what's wrong with map or start a new one after updating
