it's to keep the ESRB rating at everyone that's why they don't add it..

So work on your reading comprehension then, rather than let your feelings get the better of you and resort to insult.Urinal2001 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 20, 2024 6:06 pmHey, I'm with you man, I think both of those things should be in the game (or at least, shouldn't be BARRED from being in the game). I'm not entirely sure why they aren't if I'm honest; I know certain countries don't allow alcohol/tobacco advertising, and MAYBE that's why we can't have those things, but meat? I don't know anyone who is against children being exposed to meat. Not even the strictest vegans pretend it doesn't exist. If anything they would want more people to have the killing of animals pushed in their face, as a lot of meat eaters don't like to think about where their dinner came from.UncleRico wrote: ↑Sat Jul 20, 2024 3:06 pm Yeah see that’s what I thought about dropping cattle off at a slaughterhouse or having wine as a production (especially considering wine is one of those products that are actually produced by the people who harvest the raw materials) But people are sensitive little sissies and here we are.
Oh darn, did it just escalate again?
Seriously, I told you why. They listen to everyone but the players.
They seem to listen to PETA over the players. They seem to think alcohol will make them lose the E rating, even though players refer to other E rated games with alcohol.
See, nothing masochism about it, just answering a question.
Re: Farming Simulator 25
To me, it seems fishy that they haven't shown us the ground deformation in action. In the videos they've shared, not a single deformation to be found. Makes me think they toss that out there to drive pre-orders, and then might say it is something they will work on in future updates, like they claimed with their hired workers.BigC92 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 19, 2024 9:01 pm So the ground deformation will be a mudrunner type? Awesome, i hope they will have a separate mud texture on vehicles, i want to see vehicles covered in mud to where i dont see the name, globs of mud on the trucks, pulling out vehicles with a tow rope and/or winch, i hate reseting vehicles to the shop and messing up my vehicle lineup, ill be on PS5. I hope the vehicle washer gets an overhaul, meaning where the tip of the sprayer is pointing, only that spot will get clean, not the whole vehicle and/or implement. Also my cousin told me that there will be 4x maps, is that true? Also what other features were mentioned?
Re: Farming Simulator 25
Nah its just marketing. They've got to hold on to some of the new goodies to show off at a later date. November is a little while off yet. There's Gamescom and other events between now and then they'll no doubt want to use to generate hype and interest.
Re: Farming Simulator 25
Gamescom mid/late august(?) is the next info drop I think. Then fact sheet Fridays starting late august/early september, giving them 9 to 10 Fridays before launch. Then some dev blogs, Starting before all this maybe?

Gamescom, 21-25 august. Don't expect anything before that, but expect everything after that.Beanbrother wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2024 1:22 am When is the next expected new dump about fs25??

I hope Giants will show some love to the cockpit view players: more realistic mirrors (maybe even adjustable like ETS/ATS), proper size of harvested grains when looking at them inside a harvester, checking if textures are not flickering.

Firstly, I can assure you that my reading comprehension is better than yours, your response above is testament to that. Perhaps take a dose of your own medicine and stop resorting to insults yourself.FBtheSQL wrote: ↑Sun Jul 21, 2024 7:09 pm So work on your reading comprehension then, rather than let your feelings get the better of you and resort to insult.

That being said, "they listen to anyone but the players" isn't an explanation, whichever way you cut it, its just knee-jerk reaction. There was no mention of who you consider this mysterious 'anyone' to be. Is 'anyone' PETA? Or is 'anyone' the union for American butchers? Is this 'anyone' in the room with you now, and where did they touch you? Each of these 'anyone' have very different views on meat, but according to you, GIANTS are listening to anyone but you the player.
So remind me again why you keep buying products you have issues with, paying a company to produce something you dislike. SURELY, if you honestly felt like they listened to anyone but the players, you as a player would stop encouraging that behaviour? Every time you give them money, you are reinforcing the idea that they are doing everything right. Remind me again how there are no parallels between this and masochism? "I hate it, I hate it, take my money and do it some more"
