And if you have seen all the videos from farmcon, giants has reduced the texture size tiles from 2x2 to 1x1, so the resolution is better. If that applies to info layers is unknown. But there was also said that plant/foliage resolution was the same regarding tire tracks, foliage destruction will not fit with tire size sort of..
So will the destruction appear larger than the tire tracks? This looks very bad in the game.
Is was said that there will be no change in crop destruction. So I guess, having two narrow tire tracks is still out of question. As it is now, you might get two tracks if you drive with normal wheels, but if you drive in the same lane another time, there might be no center of tractor standing crop left..

The dev said in one of the videos that they will not be completing the wheel/crop destruction functionality in the new version.
Until we have such powerful pc/consoles that they can have 15-20 rows of wheat between the tracks, instead of the 2-3 rows now, the crop destruction won't be complete.

They said, and its pretty easy to understand, that there are huge benefits performance wise to present the small grain crops as flat 360° "bushes"

Yes, once PC/Console technology catches up with Farming Simulator technology, then we'll have proper crop destruction.
All I'm saying is, that it won't look good until we can have enough rows between the tracks..

I'm very excited and enthused for FS25. All the features they've added are ones that I've wanted for a while. Although I wouldn't have necessarily chosen wet and dry rice as the new crops, I'm excited to learn how to plant, grow, and harvest rice.
I do have one big disappointment though. I was so hoping that they would add crop irrigation in as a new feature in the new game, and with having to flood the wet rice fields, I thought surely that they would implement irriagiton. I'm aware that irrigation isn't a big thing for some farmers in some areas of the world, but in central Kansas where I live, some of the crops such as corn are very important. I wish that they would have included irrigation as an option that each player could turn off or on depending on their play style. Crops require water to grow and it just seems like a big part of farming is missing in this game without it. However, the rest of the Farming Simulator game is an awesome creation and it is the only game that I play.
I'm curious to how far they have gone with weather/soil etc. As they have said that rain, snow, time of year and where you are on the map affects ground and game physics. It would be kind of cheaping out not to involve the crops in this when you have done so much game engine wise "just" for tire tracks...
I feel like 17 was good. Then 19 launched and looked better, but no (realism) seasons. Seasons came and 19 was a pretty good game.
I assumed after all they went through with getting seasons into the game that 22 surly had to launch with it in base, but we got season cycles.
And now 25 looks absolutely amazing, but missing realistic seasons. I’m hoping will be shown at a later date. I am hoping that this is the launch of a more complete game. There’s always gonna be bugs and glitches, but that’s the world we live in now where things can be fixed along the way with patches. There will be something that I don’t like that you love.
It would be great if they also prevented crops from getting into the tire wheels and tracks. This bug still persists in the in-game visuals. This is very frustrating.

Well, things seem to be looking good, features I asked for:
1- Soil Deformation. (It's not how I imagined it, but it's a solid base, when FS19 came out I mentioned that if they increased the
resolution of the mesh could be achieved). Someone responded to me that it would require "enormous computing power."
2- Shadows of the projected clouds (hopefully they are really projected and not a simple map of random shadows)... And the ambient
light source comes from the sun and moon themselves (Not the sun setting on the horizon, and all objects casting a 45º shadow).
3- Fog... It really looks great, and as I expected.
4- Improved rain with everything that it implies... (hopefully the windshield wipers can fulfill their function in addition to affecting the terrain).
5- Shadows cast from vehicle lights. (I don't see it viable because it is "Giants Engine" but hopefully every light on the vehicle projects
its own shadow) and it seems that they finally increased the annoying limit of only 10 lights with shadows.
I should add that in terms of vehicle physics and interaction with the ground (apart from deformation), although they haven't shown much, we will still need MODS like "REA" (I wish Hans(900Hasse) would dare to convert it again).
The front axles of tractors that have suspension are not anchored as a pivot in the center. That by simply adding two parameters in the XML is solved.
And please... the front axles of the Xerion 5000 and Saddletrac are not fixed. It looks horrible when there is a minimum unevenness and one wheel is raised, losing traction for the vehicle.
Now I'm waiting for the videos of the second day to upload...
I'm guessing you had a previous account on the forum because a search of your post history shows no such thing?

There is always somebody that does this sort of thing. Probably want's people think Giants listened to him.
It's like when you watch some brand new life hack video, but then in the comments there's always somebody who claims to have done the same thing for years.

I forgot to mention that it was on the old "FS-UK" forum that no longer exists:https://www.fs-uk.com/forum/ Currently the domain is still for sale...

What do you know, apart from the fact that you have been a user here for only a few days.... have a little respect, since you never even found out about that old English forum, which was home to many of the modders who gave life to FS17. Many of us came to this forum after that one disappeared.
I don't care if the giants saw it or not, I care that many things that were talked about there, and in this forum as well, are already ready for FS25...
