Nvidia driver 560.70 problems...

Over at the Steam FS22 forum, there are several reports of the new (560.70) driver from Nvidia causing problems with starting the game.
So far I've seen 30 and 40 series cards mentioned.
Not sure which OS they use. One mentions Win11.

Downgrading to an older version (556.12 mentioned) seems to solve the problem.

Anyone else having these issues?

For what its worth, I posted this on steam:

I am having the same problem with a 3080. At one point my log showed a error code as the last item. Here is what came up when I googled it. https://www.makeuseof.com/windows-dxgi- ... ung-error/ I have only tried a couple of things so far and nothing has worked so far, perhaps if someone with a bigger brain looks at the link maybe they can sort it out. For now I am just going to rollback the driver.

Having the same issue with the new NVIDIA drivers with a 4060. A rollback fixed it.

Farm Sim 22 does not work with the latest nVidia Driver 560.70. Game crashes to desktop @ 27% load. (No error given) If I roll back to driver 556.12 it loads just fine. I am using WIN10 and a 3080ti Founders Edition.

i have exactly the same issue, i have 3080Ti game worked fine yesterday and after nvidia driver update it got stuck at 28% loading game save and now it get's to 60% and same issue, i can't even start new game because same thing happens, tried changing from DX12 to DX11 did nothing, tried reinstalling game nothing, tried rollback of nvidia drivers to previous version but that also does not help. tried sfc scannow tried installing on different drive, removing all mods, nothing helps. game is basically unplayable now.

Yep rolling back the drivers to an earlier version fixed it for me. I used Display Driver Uninstaller from here https://www.guru3d.com/download/display ... -download/ since it was recommended at some reddit post.Just make sure you restart in between.

Same with my 3070 RTX, crashes when i try to load into my save.

Exact same issue. RTX 3070Ti, running with or without mods, the game just crashes.

Have the same issue with new Nvidia RTX4070 Super and 560.70 driver!!!!

Same here, both my 3070 laptop GPU and 3080TI desktop GPU cause game to crash when loading any map. I also noticed weird issues with Forza Motorsport as well. Rolling both back to 556.12 resolved all issues for both games.

Rolling Back to 556.12 is currently the recommended workaround till Nvidia addresses the issue.

I changed the game.xml <renderer>D3D_12</renderer> to <renderer>D3D_11</renderer> and it's working at the moment

Same problem with RTX3070TI, win 10. Its about time that Giants Software fix this problem.....like....we've paid for the game so we are entitled to play it !!!!
