Thursday, 1/9, game was playing and saving correctly.
Friday, 1/10, it can't seem to autosave or manually save.
Troubleshooting steps.
I removed all of the Giants and Kingmods, cleared out that folder.
Loaded up current save, crash on save.
Started new game, no mods, crash on save.
Uninstalled and reinstalled the game from game pass
Still with no mods with current savegame
started another new game with no mods, crash on save
Patch version still says 1.4.0.0

Found the buried folders where MSGP dumps the FS25 profile data.
C:\Users\userID\AppData\Local\Packages\GIANTSSoftware.FarmingSimulator25PC_fa8jxm5fj0esw
It's a random filename tail on each installed attempt and this is where the save games, save backups and mods folders live, when you use the MSGP version of FS25. It does not use the 'My Games\FarmingSimulator2025\' or whichever folder that the Steam version uses.
Upon starting FS25 from GP, I 'cancelled' the MS game syncing it does, which completely reset this profile folder back to defaults, like the money, volume of the game, controller dead zones, etc; all back to defaults.
Started a new game, setup the settings I prefer, no mods, file time stamps were all current time from this profile reset, loaded the game, saved after 1 second, then it crashed on the next save attempt.
It was looking like it was something with MS and their cloudsyncing, but having reset the game back to it's defaults, stopping the sync, it's still freezing on save, leading to the game crashing.
