NEW DLC IDEA - RETRO FARMING
It would be so awesome to have those 20s - 60s tractors from the EU and USA, I would have so much fun roleplaying Mafia 1 / 2 game era farm :3
I know that there are some mods, but I would really love actual DLC from official source and having it in my steam library >.>

Manufacturers often showcase vintage equipment. Manufacturers of models even more, like when Giants released the Porsche Junior in cooperation with Revel models.Drmattymd wrote: Mon Mar 30, 2026 6:36 pm Not gonna happen. Manufacturers arent trying to promote their obsolete equipment

Re: NEW DLC IDEA - RETRO FARMING
Giants already released something similar in FS 13 and 15. Will there be anything new along those lines again?
I don't think so.

It's a good idea, one that comes up from time to time so hopefully GIANTS will one day catch on. I've only really looked at Claas and John Deere, but both have extensive online histories which I think would suggest they are (justly) proud of their heritage and so could well be in favour.

Re: NEW DLC IDEA - RETRO FARMING
I agree blue. I think at this point it could be a win for everyone involved. Call it The Legends Pack or something like that and market it heavily with support from brands with a long, proud history. A few of those old machines that along the years helped shape farming before it became what we know today. Players obviously win, Giants looks like the devs who listened which gets them over and of course brands like the above mentioned get to flex stuff that younger generations haven't really been exposed to in the largest farming game franchise that has existed at this point in time (which from my perspective is only gaining momentum). And the best part is it wouldn't take much effort to put it physically together. At this point someone needs to get this green lit. They make money, we get what we want and everyone comes out smelling like roses. Its just good business.

Which is why, as my good friend FBtheSQL might well say, is why GIANTS won't do it.PrincessJessi84 wrote: Wed Apr 01, 2026 5:00 pm I agree blue. However, fingers crossed and keep on talking about it in the hopes that one day they do listen.

Re: NEW DLC IDEA - RETRO FARMING
There are tons of old tractors and harvesters and most of them look unique. Not like the modern equipment where 4 brands produce exactly same looking tractors >.> And as mentioned above, Giants already produced DLC like that before, so they can try to re-license the models and just update them to FS25 standard >.>
