I just bought FS25 and the game freezes when I exit. I have to close it via task manager. It is vanilla with year 1 season pass. This only happens if I play the game. If I just look around the menus but do not load a game then it exits fine. I have not installed any mods.
The last lines of the log.txt says 'application quit' it then says '2026-05-17 16:34:40.818 Warning: Mod-List download failed on attempt #1 ... retry in 4.041000 s.'
Not sure if this is an indicator of possible issue. I save before closing and in options have it set to save every 15 mins.

I may have found where the issue lies. It seems that the mod hub might be the issue (even though I don't use any mods yet). If you load the mod hub before closing the game (it can take several attempts) then the game closes without issue.
