Issue

Mods downloaded from the in-game ModHub never finish installing.

The download reaches 100%, then immediately starts downloading again from the beginning. No error message is displayed.

The mod is never installed.

Frequency

* 100% reproducible.
* Happens every time.

Affected content

Initially the problem affected maps only, but it now also affects small mods (around 20 MB).

The issue is no longer limited to specific maps.

Troubleshooting already performed

* Reinstalled Farming Simulator 25.
* Deleted all local saved data.
* Confirmed more than 250 GB of free storage.
* Changed DNS settings.
* NAT status is Open.
* Tested with a different Xbox account on the same console.
* Tested multiple mods from ModHub.
* Game is fully updated to version 1.20.0.0.

None of these actions changed the behavior.

Additional information

The exact same issue also occurs in Farming Simulator 22 on the same console.

Symptoms are identical:

* Download reaches 100%.
* Download restarts automatically.
* No error message.
* Mod is never installed.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open ModHub.
2. Select any mod.
3. Start the download.
4. Wait until the progress reaches 100%.
5. Instead of installing, the download restarts from 0%.

Expected behavior

The mod should finish downloading and appear in the installed mods list.

Actual behavior

The download enters an infinite loop and never completes.

Additional notes

I found multiple reports from other Xbox players describing the same behavior, including downloads restarting at 100% and never completing. There are also ongoing discussions indicating that some console-specific ModHub issues require investigation by GIANTS because mod creators cannot fully test Xbox behavior themselves. (GIANTS Forum)

Could you please investigate whether this is a ModHub or Xbox-specific issue and advise if any diagnostic logs or additional information are required

I’m on Xbox series X and I’m having the same problem for the last few weeks.

Same problem tried fs22 same problem even tried hotspot. Im done with this game. Zero fix and no awareness whatsoever. They could care less about their non PC users.

Is your mod storage space full?
Current gen consoles are limited to 8GB (?) of mod space, if I'm not wrong.

I have no idea if there is some kind of warning message or some way to check remaining capacity for mod storage space, though.
Maybe some experienced console players can chime in here.

As of today I am still not able to download hardly any mods.

I have

Reset the Xbox
Restarted and reset router
Deleted all mods and the game/ downloaded the game with no mods and still can’t download mods/maps

This has been going on for over a month.

Today was the last chance I will be deleting it again when I get home and thank god I didn’t waste money on the season pass

I’m having this exact issue on series X. I have tried everything and can’t get any mod to install

Same issue I submitted a bug report on it but I am on a series X machine. the reply back was that they could not duplicate it. for me the smaller mods have no issue, I'm about 50% full on my mods download limit. Please place a bug report and reference bug ID 0036454.

I checked the ModHub storage on my Xbox Series S. It is only about 60% used, so I still have more than 4 GB of free mod storage available.

Despite that, maps still reach 100% and then restart the download instead of installing.

Could you please investigate whether this could be a ModHub or Xbox-specific issue?

I'm not working at Giants.

But with the update version available today your issue might be fixed looking at this point from the changelog:
- Fixed an issue causing larger mod downloads to fail on some network configurations (Xbox only)

I am also having that same issue and I am on Xbox Series S.
