Problem with xBox 360 controller

Greetings,
I have Ski-Region Simulator 2012 on my Mac and the xbox 360 controller's right thumbstick is not recognized at all when i try to use any loader functions. it only recognizes the right thumbstick to look around when i am in the vehicles. Any insight on how i can get this working properly?
