I am using the American map. West something.. al l the grass I plant comes up dead and cannot be mowed. For profit....... is this a glitch.. or did I miss something. ..?

I fertilized it and all that jazz too...

Fertilizing grass doesn't do anything to it so that was a waste, and what exactly do you mean by "dead" because if it's the fact that it looks brown then it's supposed to look like that
