Do i detect better physics
If i am not mistaken the tractors and combines seem to have much better physics than 17?

oh yes.. better physics and handling across the board.. its like the MR mod but less... dramatic? (I personally think the MR mods were way over done which is y I only used them for a short spell)

I completely agree. The new physics seem to split the difference well, so far. MR was really appealing to me, and actually pretty cool on flatter maps, but those with hills (that tended to have unrealistically steep grades) made MR frustrating for me, so I generally turned it off.PrincessJessi84 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 02, 2018 2:36 am oh yes.. better physics and handling across the board.. its like the MR mod but less... dramatic? Is your thoughts on this for PC only like from the beta updates? Or base game? Just curious if I can expect better on console when they update it lol

Re: Do i detect better physics
Yes. They have much better physics. For example, I’ve had trouble stopping my combine on hills before because the weight keeps carrying me downhill and today I was being pushed downhill at 45 mph in my 7240 Magnum by 20,000L of Barley and then about 30 bales a separate time.

Re: Do i detect better physics
no this is my observation from day one release.. it was the very first thing I noticed when I started playing.. acceleration and braking r much slower.. handling is less "responsive".. and everything just feels generally heavier than fs17 causing a nice bit of play in the suspension on bumps and in corners.. the vehicle physics in fs17 were by far my biggest complaint.. it felt like formula one tractor racing.. the new system is considerably better and has made the game much more enjoyable for me.. it doesn't "hurt" coming from ATS straight into farming simulator now lolvondeylenfarms wrote: ↑Sun Dec 02, 2018 5:36 am Is your thoughts on this for PC only like from the beta updates? I have noticed the same on console. Especially tractors being harder to stop when towing a heavy trailer and trucks behaving differently depending on their load
Re: Do i detect better physics
There is a noticeable difference between release and 1.1.3. Tractors do have more momentum. You can see it when coasting with accelerator or brake. It's still not quite right, but definitely a lot better than vanilla fs17

Re: Do i detect better physics
is there theSeb? I hadn't noticed the difference after the patch.. I did notice it from day one tho.. hmm.. maybe they did more work on it.. I hope they keep it up.. this is probably my favorite change between 17 and 19
Re: Do i detect better physics
I am sure of it. I haven't played much since release version until yesterday. My tractors are rolling a lot more without player input
Re: Do i detect better physics
The physics seems better but we still have pallets sliding around like they are on ice or stubbornly refusing to get off the forks. On top of this we have harvesters grounding out on invisible bits of ground when the header is down.
So better but still needs major work.

Re: Do i detect better physics
well there r lots of *other things that still need attention in terms of non static objects.. and like with the harvester.. its just a typo in the .xml for the attacher joint that's causing the issue.. but we were specifically talking about vehicle and equipment physics
