Balers for Console - 2 Questions

Post by REN56 »

FS19 - PS4/PS5 Console

Hi everyone,
I’m looking for recommendations on a good baler for console FS19.
Two questions:

Both questions have been answered - thanks very much! *thumbsup*

First question: Are there any Balers that make Round Bales that ‘automatically’ unload the bales while baling without having to stop and ‘manually’ unload each/every single bale one bale at a time as they are made? By “manually” - I mean stop, press “unload bale”, wait for Baler to unload it, close cover, then continue on until the next bale is ready to unload - unlike the square bale balers I’ve used that simply automatically eject the finished bale without having to stop while baling. Any recommendations for a good round bale Baler to try that you’ve had good luck with?

Next question: I was going along just fine using the “Hesston Big Baler” (Mod = https://www.farming-simulator.com/mod.p ... tle=fs2019) - loving the slot count of this Baler using up only 2 slots - until I wanted to use a bale wrapper and discovered it wasn’t compatible with any bale wrapper I could find. Otherwise I was very pleased with how well this particular Baler performed. So, for the sake of overall baling flexibility, I just changed yesterday to using the “Agco High Density Baler” (Mod = https://www.farming-simulator.com/mod.p ... tle=fs2019) that creates 6000l standard size bales and is compatible for bale wrapping purposes. However, after hours of baling with this baler, the baler pickup on the Agco Baler seems extremely narrow in pickup width as compared to the width that the Hesston Big Baler pickup covered and a few other balers I’ve used. That brings me to the question - is there a Baler that anyone can recommend that - preferably, but not an absolute requirement, does 6000l standard size square bales - with a baler pickup that doesn’t feel like it’s only covering a very narrow 1m width in pickup width coverage (or half or less the same pickup coverage width as other balers I’ve used), resulting in requiring repeated passes over the same standard width swath rows (even worse on turns) because of so much being missed by the baler’s pickup (note: this is not due to trying to pick up a huge massive pile in 1 pass or from excessive speed, of course any console baler will struggle to do that and require a few extra passes to get the entire large pile, as well as do so at max working speeds) - - - so, any recommendations for a good square bale Baler to try that you’ve had good luck working with?

Many thanks in advance for any/all replies… I appreciate it very much. :)

Happy farming everyone! *thumbsup*

There is the Vicon Fastbale that comes with the Anderson DLC, it's a non-stop roundbale wrapper but you still have to eject the bale manually.
For wrapping Hesston Big bales there is this mod https://farming-simulator.com/mod.php?l ... _id=162606.
And this baler https://farming-simulator.com/mod.php?l ... _id=216068 has a wider pickup header than the Agco and it does 6000l bales.

For Console only the Vicon FastBale from the Kverneland DLC does continuous baling without stopping as far as I know.

If I'm doing square bales I always go for the Krone bigpack, two slots and a decent pickup. https://www.farming-simulator.com/mod.p ... tle=fs2019
And if I prefer an old school look or playing with small engines I take the Case https://www.farming-simulator.com/mod.p ... tle=fs2019
Both will do only the standard 4.000l bales.

You dont have to eject the bale manually, it can be switched to auto.
Also if the OP wants the hired worker to bale, just use the fast bale with this front rake

The Vicon Fastbale comes with the Kverneland & Vicon DLC, not the Anderson one.

If the OP doesn't yet have the DLC then they should keep in mind that the Fastbale can feel slow depending on the swath size (in practice it's no slower than any other baler/wrapper and quicker than manually baling and wrapping).

If you tend to use medium to big windrowers it will limit speed to around 4-5mph. If you prefer smaller equipment it will be fine, somewhere between 8mph and its 11mph top speed.

There is a pottinger one from the alpine dlc that will auto unload into the wrapper. Then you manually drip it. But you don't have to stop, atleast I don't think. Been awhile since I've used it.
FS22 on Xbox Series X. But play the older titles on PC.
