Still missing hoses?
Still missing hoses?
At the Gamescom presentation, I saw a situation that bothered me a lot. There were no hose connections between the Mack Truck and the Lode King trailers. Is it a joke? Will the FS22 still have hoseless equipments? I was thinking they would completely fix this deficiency.

Can you post a screenshot?
Re: Still missing hoses?
Ew, yeah pretty ugly with the glad hands modeled but no hoses
Re: Still missing hoses?
One thing to note is Lars and Kenneth said it's a development version so hopefully that can be fixed

Re: Still missing hoses?
I hope this gets added to, along with the driver not casting shadows from vehicles and electric trains having raised the back pantograph even when they are controlled by AI,FS 19 will raise the pantograph when you start the train..but the wrong one. Details that matter for immersion.
Looking at the bright side though they seem to have done a lot with sounds, like sounds from tree felling, I missed that in FS19.
I have to say the french map looks nice, hope they throw out the german train for the finished product and adds a french one, since trains is actually functional and part of the gameplay.
Sorry for hijacking your thread, I just thought opening a new thread would clutter the forum and eventually be missed by Giants.
I agree fully with OP.

Re: Still missing hoses?
Did they say in the presentation that the missing hoses will be fixed in the full version?

Re: Still missing hoses?
No but emphasised it is a development version and things might not look the same in the finished game so still time to change it
Re: Still missing hoses?
It's not a bug it's a feature !
Joke aside, a bit hard to judge on dev version.
Will have to wait until release to see how well they did with immersion...
Fingers crossed !

Re: Still missing hoses?
How is it wireless hydraulic hoses? Are hydraulic fluids transmitted wirelessly? There are hose outlets of Lode King trailer in the game.

Re: Still missing hoses?
Faruk, it was a joke
I hope too there will be real hoses hooked up between the truck and the trailer
