Watching MRSealyp on PS5 FS22 thoughts

Good afternoon all!

MRSealyp has a PS5 version early excess of FS22.

Just a few thoughts that i have, and maybe someone spotted it as well.

- There is no RPM meter on the right corner, it is like FS19: it goes up and down with the speed, on PC previews i do see a RPM meter.
- Controls for Steering wheel/shifting: it seems like there is no menu for your shifting controls or whatsoever, MRSealyp has to figure it out himself on how the shifting works, looks a bit odd to me ? + there are different types of transmision boxes, which Agrarplay explains and shows in the PC preview into detail, but since there is no control menu, how do we know how each box works ? (i don't see it in his help menu either) (+ was hoping to see a changeable spring strenght setting.....)
- Side panel doesn't work in FS22... whilst it did in FS19.... i hope this is only in his version.
- In general (also for PC), there are only 2 CASE IH tractors ?! the maxxum and optum, and only one steyr ?!

Could it be that he has an older preview build, or will this stay as is which would mean that it is a big difference with PC ?!

Another thing is that he only hade 1299 slots!

I saw the same stream, where the reflective of beacon light didn't work.

Or did he install the PS4 version?

Edit: Even PS4 should have 2749 slots

That means little, Giants may have also uploaded a non-final version, which is then updated with the day one patch

Also a bit sad you cant name your char on console as you can on PC. Sutch a little thing but would be awsome

Pro’s:-

- character can have many different outfits
- graphics looked sharp
- menu system appeared better
- more immersive with added sounds/processes
- slots on machines and equipment seemed a lot lower
- landscaping/build mode looked good

Cons:-

- no 3rd person view of character in game
- lighting still appears a bit cartoony
- slots appeared wrong
- no reflective beacons
- no Logitech side panel (PS5 so highly unlikely to work on Xbox again)
- manual gear a change looked hard with game pad
- no way of assigning buttons to functions

Just a few of the good/bad I spotted. Hopefully some can be fixed with an early patch (certainly the slot number etc)

ah i see, also rpm meter is visible.

Only thing is , that manual transmissing with clutch option is gone from the menu... (sooo i recon it cant be used with G29)

Just got a PM from MisterP
His FS22 just updated and he has 5155 slots now

Giants already stated that the pre-release version won't be the same as official...

People are funny to watch overeact on a product that is not officially launched..lol
