Anyone know how to remove medium and large stones after patch 1.2?

I always removed stones after mulching and or cultivating but after 1.2 I can’t use the stone picker at all at any stage. I can use the roller after planting but that only removes small stones

Just to make sure, you are turning the stone picker on and lowering it correct?

Stonepickers don't work on planted fields, do it on cultivated or plowed fields.

Not sure then. I always use the picker directly after plowing and it works for me.

Yes that sounds like a glitch especially as you can't lime fields. I just made a video about how much I hate stones, and the rock picker got them all. I picked after plowing/cultivating.

If on PC, use the console command gsStoneSystemSetState <field_num> none. The strange thing was that after I did that, if I plowed stones would not come up, and I thought it permanently turned them off. However, by next tilling cycle, they reappeared, and all has been well. I removed stones off the entire map after 1.2.0.0 with this command, and they have all come back normally. Note though, this command does not work on parts of a field you have merged, only the original map fields. To clean up stones there, you have to paint the terrain to grass, then plow it. Big PITA if you had several merged fields and widened everything to get a bit more yield.

I turned them off, and removed the "densityMap_stones.gdm" from the savegame, since my brother started to see stones everywhere (the whole farmyard was full of stones).

That helped to get them out for good.
