Dont start on new PC

HI !

Me and my kid have been playing FS17 some time now. But after upgraded the rig I cant start it anymore...
Anyone that might have a solution to it?

I press play in Steam, the screen goes black onen second then back to steam.

I have been trying to change various things in the game.xml based on tips online after serching google.
But no luck.

It may be that something on the new system (like a driver) doesn't like FS17, because it's seven years old now. Older games can refuse to run on new hardware.

Does it work if you disable wi-fi?
If yes, this is a known issue and I doubt they will ever fix it.
