Hello,

I have a question about this part of FS Academy:

"But, there has to be a stage of growth between both applications. For example, you can fertilize the first time after sowing, and a second time after the plants begin to sprout.

Also, there are two exceptions to the rule:

Exception #1: grass you can only fertilize once instead of twice"

I'm just curious about it, cause I direct drill seed grass (which gives me 1st state of fertilization), right after that I use herbicide (the AI worker won't do it thou) and then I use a roller for a second fertilization.

On grass fields no weeds will grow. So there is no need for herbicide other than role playing.

For the "only fertilize once instead of twice": After the cut, grass gets the first fertilizer level automatically. Using a grass roller directly after the cut, you will get the second level. You can of course use fertilizer, manure or slurry instead.

When grass is ready to harvest, you cut it and it will still have 50% fertilization. Then use a grass roller and it will get back to 100% fertilization. Then wait untill it will be ready to harvest again. Is a rinse and repeat procedure.

Yes.

But the Güttler Matador 610S got the option for grass and can still be used for fields. Beware it reset the grass near field with this option back to first grow stage. And you can use it in the front or back. Helper to use better only at back to clear nearly the hole field.

If you want, you can have one roller for three :

You can use it as a grass roller, field roller, and mulching roller. You will only need to customize it before each use.
