[FS19] wont recognize my pedals or steering axis

Using a t500 steering wheel and pedals. Certain buttons on my wheel are being detected but when I try to assign steer left/right to the wheel axis its not detected nor are my brake/accel/clutch. Any help would be greatly appreciated I've been troubleshooting for two days now.
