The mate is playing on pc and all the animals need water. But can’t find the trigger?? For any of the pens. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Im on ps5 so couldn’t help lol

Apart from the cow pasture, none of the cow barns take water manually.
it is probably a mod he has that is adding water into the animal menu even though the barn doesn't actually take water manually.

This is a new feature in FS22 since release.
Animal pens/buildings usually have automatic water supply per default. Pastures usually do not have and will require manual water supply.
For mods this can be different as it can be changed in the xml of the animal husbandry.

Check for the line

Yeah likewise. I thought i was loosing my marbles when the mate says they need water and I’m checking all the pens with no water needed lol.

Some map makers will change it but in general animals that stay in a building will auto-water, those free ranging in a pasture will require it.

We know this. Hence the confusion… it is saying they need water. But theres is no trigger on pc. Also, on console i put in soybean straw expecting it to be bedding, it turned into grass for feed …
