The thing is people who own VR headsets think its easy to do. People aay VR is profitable but its been not even 2 years and people say its profitable? Fo4 Giants it maybe a bit too much

Let's talk about VR for a moment.

There are pros and cons and I can tell you the topic of VR comes up every other month here at GIANTS, so we know it could be cool.

HOWEVER, real talk: It's a ton of work to make a game VR ready and we have to decide if we want to spend that time on it or not. Keep in mind we are a small company, so dedicating someone to a VR port would take time from the development of other features that, quite franky, we think are more important than VR right now.

The real question is: Is it worth droping things for VR? As we are a company we would have to go with: Will we sell enough copys of the game to VR players who would not have bought the game to justify the workload? The answer is: who knows? We don't, but we feel that focusing on features like horses ect. is the right call right now.

They really can't help themselves. But what it comes down to is only the forum moderators can tell you how to use the forums. As long as you don't run afoul of their rules post away and ignore the static.
Thanks Magnarex =)

RODHA? You win buddy, you are indeed the strongest keyboard warrior, i bow for your wisdom :hi:

And Nigel, are you really the one to correct grammar? =)=)=)
Nigelbilt wrote: Thu Mar 01, 2018 3:11 pm Moot, not mute. Those two words mean totally different things.

There is a reason why very few developers want to even touch VR and they have no problem stating why. It’s is worth the development time.

That’s not grammar. That is incorrect typing. Using two complete different words isn’t grammar either. That’s just not knowing what words mean.

Thank you for the explanation Lisertan *thumbsup*
Although I would realy like to have VR support for FS more than anything (horses and other things that I don't even know yet) you are completely right on Giants perspective.
One thing is for sure though, FS is one the most suitable games for VR if not the most suitable one.
One way or another, soon or later, if VR doesn't fail like 3D gaming it will become a necessity for FS very much like seasons.
A feature that completes this game.

^^ ???? What???? That makes literally ZERO sense. We bought the game to relax and have fun, why would we go buy a real farm just because we want VR?

I hope for lightning, thunder also if outside, and John Deer tractors. The log trailer that can dump the logs on its side is a TREMENDOUS help in forestry. It should be mandatory. It should be easy in and easy out at the sawmill. I’m so excited now
