Having a crack at this nice map of rolling hills.
Going to have a go at organic farming for the first time, the nicely placed poop buypoint encouraged me to start chucking it around the map. Just have to resist the urge to spray pre emptive weed control chemical after sowing (i hate weeding, they always seem to pop up in the middle of the night).
Nice big farm area to start and plenty of room to expand, I had no trouble rearranging the farm to suit me, no real hassle placing objects.
Plenty of land to farm and decent size forests
Never played it in 17 but it feels like a well rounded map
Aussie who loves himself a 7790 JD cotton picker, 100ac was most i got off in one day. (22.5hrs)
Currently a 300 ac irrigated beef farmer with Hereford Angus x.
50-120 head.
Gear-MF i148, 7 disc offset plow, fert/seed broadcaster, harrow bars.
Only crop for improving grazing capacity so don't need much.

I agree. I’ve got 5 or 6 hours in so far and really, really like this map. Good field sizes, easy to place buildings and such, and the terrain is fantastic. One of my favorites so far.

Rather disappointed that grass is not an option with landscaping. Very few recent maps have that option and that feature was added by Giants how long ago?

I noticed the lack of actual grass when using the paint tool too. Modders should be able to add this feature in an update, my guess is it was simply overlooked

I just love the way you give that much detailed information on the maps you are interested.
Reading your posts on a map topic gives me all the information I would ever need without even downloading the map.
Thanks for the high quality sharing :hi:

I loved the Tuscan Lands in FS17 and I'm sure it is still a great map. But there is one thing I just can't get along with in FS19. It is the lighting engine. That stupid auto exporuse/brightness thing. It just drives me crazy and I would never play even a single map with that standard lighting engine.

So, I wonder if this map has custom lighting like oxygen david's maps or alien jim's washoe map?

RODHA, sadly it doesn't seem to have custom lighting.
"That stupid auto exporuse/brightness thing. It just drives me crazy" i agree, some angles it feels like your looking at the dark side of the moon

Edit:
Thanks for kind comments but the modder deserves the praise, they put in the hard work, I merely state what I see. Speaking of which, there is some nice street art/graffiti about the place also

Thanks for the info on the lighting :hi:

Modders are doing a great job and that lighting issue is Giants problem not theirs.
Some modders can or decide to alter the lighting some doesn't.
This is not a point of criticism. It is just me. I can't really play more than a couple of hours before getting frustratingly annoyed by that lighting. So, I'm prett much very limited on my map choices.

My hopes are with the seasons. I know they worked on the lighting but I have no idea how good or bad it is.

Regardless, tuscan lands is a great map. Enjoy *thumbsup*

Thank you for bringing Tuscan Lands to FS19.

You Might want to check out MrSealyP on youtube he did a map tour and noticed a few problems you might not be aware of

I hear ya! I make too many mistakes when creating my farm that I need the default map grass as an option for painting. Love this map layout, I was hoping to paint over entire field (#1) to set up the large FS 13 sheep pen. It makes 2 different grass types that drives my OCD crazy

to avoid having more errors on the map you need to create a new save, it is not the modder's fault but how the game is made, unfortunately the modification of the terrain is a big problem on fs19
The modification of the terrain had to be studied better before being inserted in fs19, in my opinion in fs21 it will be much better or at least I hope so

When did this update come out? I just started on one yesterday, still experiencing the issue so I am guessing no it hasn't been.
