after plowing or cultivating and rollers will only push the small rocks back into the ground as far as i know, but roller can also be used after seeding to give a yeild bouns as well.

Seems like rollers should only be effectively used on plowed fields, to save the rock picking (plowing I believe never gives you large rocks). The free fert is nice too, but they are indeed slow.

The stonepickers are for use before seeding, yes. They leave a cultivated status i game? But the rolling of the medium to small rocks are done after seeding, and if the game has broken that, well that is what I would call a bug..

Where I am from rolling is only done before planting, but there are no rocks/stones in the fields here. They are just used to firm up the seedbed.

Some do that here to, mostly for Correct seed placement I think.
But in game, it's done for pushing down rocks, so it should be done after seeding imo. Excluding corn, and cotton i guess, those should not get any bonus from rolling..

Wouldn't it be nice if it were all explained in a manual, huh.
