Access saved game

I used a mod to upgrade my factories and now I regret it. How do I go back to before using the mod? I found a folder with saved games but what do I do with them? There are 20 saved games in the folder, do I just delete some until before the mod, and will that work with Steam?

Always try to test mods on a testsave. So it doesn't ruin your own savegame.

Regarding going back to an earlier save, I don't think it's possible, but I'm not sure. So I hope someone else can help you with that.

Find the backup folder with the last save you want to go back to and copy all the files to the current savegame folder.

What ^ said, you want the savegame backup folder, the savegame folders are for each available slot. You need to find the backup that correlates to the correct slot # and copy all the contents into the matching save folder
