John Deer X9 1100
Hi I am using the JD 1100 combine with the HD50F header is there a mod header of the same width that will allow the combine to go a litt faster
Re: John Deer X9 1100
You can change working speed in the xml of the header.
Other option would be this mod for example:

https://www.farming-simulator.com/mod.p ... tle=fs2022 .....set the cruise control at speed you want and happy harvesting
Re: John Deer X9 1100
Hi thanks for the reply I have had a look at the xml file but I can’t see how to tweak the speed setting and the mod you mentioned only slows things down. But thanks for the advice
Re: John Deer X9 1100
That`s not correct. Speed can be adjusted in both directions.

The setting range is up to 10 kph (or 6.2 miles) more or less in 1 kph (or 0.62 miles) increments, starting from the default value of the attachment.

And the 'tool height control' mod that Decriptus mentioned allows you to go up to the top speed your harvester is capable of.
Re: John Deer X9 1100
Hi guys I’ve tried the mod for hight control and yes I can make the combine speed up but it looks so unrealistic
I think I need the tweak the xml file somehow

Re: John Deer X9 1100
Look into the xml file of the header.
At the beginning of the file you will find the <base> section. Search for the parameter
<speedLimit value="10" />
Change the value to your desired working speed.

Re: John Deer X9 1100
You can still lower the header and benefit from the increased speed. It knocks a few mph off, but still faster than stock.
