Morning Fog

Post by Cpt.Ass »

Hi all.

Ive found this really nice mod Morning Fog mod. http://ls2013.info/2012/11/morning-fog/

But does anyone, who might have it, know how to alter the time its foggy? Cause i think its way too little, but i have no idea how to alter it to last longer..

Thanks in advance

One of the files included, morningfog_dynamic, gives you different fog intensity for every day. But always from 5AM to 8AM
Guy, if you're gonna ask for help remember that we're not beside you in front of your screen. So, please, help us helping you by giving us some details such as log.txt, hardware details...

And remember, this is a forum. It is different from Twitter. Here you can, no, you MUST use more than 150 digits to explain your thoughts

Thanks

I liked the idea of this mod too. Except I would love to be able to have a subtle fog 24hrs a day, to hide all the terrible distance rendering the GIANTS engine does.

I looked into the files of the Morning Fog mod and couldn't make sense of how to change the few hours it's enabled, to an all day system.

It would be awesome if someone could do a mod like that.

Check out the piccy to see what I mean. It still looks visible in the working area, but the distance now looks better (IMO):

Well in the new patch there is fog to and there you can set how long it should be.. So just use the new patch to alter the weather to your liking :)

I've looked high and low for the setting that allows weather control after the new patch 1.4, but I cannot find anything.

Am I missing something, or is it hidden deep in the game somewhere?

Cheers in advance!

When you start the Savegame with Patch 1.3, and now the Patch 1.4 is installed, it can be 14 Gamedays befor you can see the new weather.
Look at the Weathermonitor in PDA, switch with 9 to next 4 Days and see...
