These look pretty good...but I have been down that road before. Anyone try these?

any other good Deere mods?

I know a forum member was working on a few - but it appears almost all those people who were working on good mods have quit, which is unfortunate.

Both of the ones you linked are for fs13, even though someone uploaded them in the fs15 section they have not been converted

True dat. I even downloaded one of them not realizing till afterward. I keep a keen eye out for Deere...nothing spotted yet. Some...are marginal at best, none of the ones I have seen have decent textures.

I've been waiting for JD too man. Hopefully something comes out soon. I've seen a lot of really good ones for FS13.

Nothing yet. Agrosketch have released a good model, but their texturing needs a lot of work and it's plagued with an extreme case of the sliding bug.

7280 was corrupted, froze my game up.

6810, this isn't too bad for a little tractor, especially with the front loader. I like how the green is toned down a bit and not...whats the word, "Saturated" maybe. pretty sure this is a 90's era-real world? Would be nice to get something current though. good find.

the 6810 is probably size wise a little larger than a T6. Being 15 years old, the power output is not what we see today, but that could be tweaked.

Thers a very nice 7610, 7710 and 7810 out there.
All so some very well made 8310R, 8360R and 8370R.
Plus a nice 9560R.
And think the 6170R and 6210R are all right to.
So, they are made and ready for DL. :)

do you have links to those?

I have seen many of those models, but they were 13 mods which either had not been updated or were done very poorly.

I think the benchmark around here is FS2015 Giants models/textures/scripts.

Do these compare to the quality of Giants? If so, please place us a link. we've seen many ported 2013 models that frankly are not 2015 Giants quality, and are junk.

EDIT: Trains beat me too it.

I downloaded some JD mods in past and was largely unimpressed by all of them. Either the textures were bad, or the mods were borderline buggy (bad sound, broken lights, etc.).
I think most of the mods converted from previous FS games are a big no.

Where? Is there some magical alternate universe where all these are not second rate, stolen and converted without permission FS13 mods? Sorry for sarcasm, but I have not seen a single proper conversion or a new FS15 native model that wasn't full of bugs, ranging from multiple script errors to just God awful textures and other visual oddities.

I agree with Mac. From what I've seen there's definitely not any good JD mods. I myself do not even want to look at it if it can't even have the same textures as giants default tractors.

Why is that anyway? Is it due to laziness or is there some code giants haven't released yet that I keep hearing about?

To help Mack out with his above reference to agrosketch.

Looks like they have released the first version of the agrosketch JD to the public that you mentioned above.

Just like what everyone is talking about...those textures....hope this why it is a V1.0. I'll try it out tonight.

Tired of downloading 400HP JD tractors that look like stuff and sound like a lawn mower...

Side note- Gilroy222 you check out Pleasant valley 15 yet? This could be our map!.... :smileynew:
